The MOOPIL course objectives are to:
- become familiar with the Guiding Principles of Dual Language Education (Howard et al., 2018),
- align program components with the dual language goals of bilingualism, biliteracy and sociocultural competence, and
- advocate and lead for equitable school environments that promote high academic achievement and favorable educational outcomes for all students.
